Our machines

MIB Hydro composite, RTM and stamping presses. Recognised as a major supplier to the chemical industry, MIB Hydro’s extensive range of hydraulic presses provide the ability to manufacture a wide range of components, as well as semi-finished products. Moulding through the force of compression is a common industrial process. Materials such as melamine formaldehyde, phenol and urea are frequently used as these materials can be formed into different shapes through applying both heat and pressure; many other plastics do not have these properties. Compression moulding sometimes involves using ‘polymer powders’ or a solid ‘slug’. In both cases, heat and pressure are applied. There is an enormous range of commercial products that are formed by means of compression moulding, from watering cans to plastic helmets.

How MIB Hydro’s composite presses could provide the right solution for you : Our hydraulic hot compression presses are extensively used for making plastic parts and composite materials. Our machines are designed for the most advanced technological processes, such as BMC, RTM, SMC and hot stamping and involve thermo-compression, PEEK materials and laboratory presses at suitably high temperatures. We supply all that is required for the entire process, including heating and cooling devices and loading and unloading systems. MIB Hydro develops and installs customised machines, tailored to the processes of each client. We ensure overall management of each project, from design to installation in the customer’s workshop.
